The classification is simplified to grade, thickness and size. Cut pieces can be accommodated as well as full plates.
Material is identified by nominal sizes but it can be listed by its actual dimensions, which are recorded upon receipt.
In the Sheet and Plate version, a Works Order module is available to enable for multiple Sales Orders to be cut from a single pack of material, to maximise on material utilisation.
Offcuts can still be restocked if required.
