None Ferrous sections and plate require the full Classification system so that Mouldings (extruded sections), Pipe and fittings can be accomodated.
Materials are monitored by unit piece, but as sizes and weights per metre are standardised, then weights and values may be expressed in any alternative units of measure.
Full lengths and Cut pieces can be monitored with equal ease. Offcuts can be restocked or scrapped.
Actual weights per metre are automatically calculated at Goods Inwards. The profitability is calculated on the price basis of the Batch used.
