The Stock browsing screen shows a summary of material in Stock.The quantities are summed by material type across all Batches of that material. The quantity can be in individual pieces or a sum of the weight, as applicable to the particular industry.
If Sales Order Processing and Purchase Order Processing are also implemented,
then the Stock Summary screen can also show pending Purchase Order deliveries
and forward Sales Order dispatches.
From this screen it is just a click to drill down and inquire about Batches,
Previous Sales, Profitability of Previous sales, Previous Orders and buy prices,
details of outstanding orders etc.
Material details identified in this screen can easily be add to a new Sales
or Purchase order.
