The cutting optimisation module will establish the minimum wastage when cutting material to match the requirements of a Works Order (which may be comprised of multiple Sales Orders).
The module matches the requirements with Batches of material available in stock. Material may be cut from offcuts or full lengths. The Saw blade width is taken into account.
Options can be set to either minimise offcuts or minimise tool setting changes.
The chosen results are stored within the system and match each required piece with the Batch from which it should be cut. A Cutting List can then be printed.
