The material maintenace facility is designed to allow the entry of standard
data in a fashion which supports the Classification system.
The Classification system is a heirarchical structure that allow materials to be easily identified from by clicking on dropdown lists. Once the data is set up it will only need changing if the product range is extended
The Materials Maintenance screens are customised for individual businesses.
For instance, Steel Coil or Strip stockists will probably not need facilities
to describe rolled sections and pipefittings.
